Rio de Janeiro to NYC NYC to Boston Boston to Detriot Detroit to Salt Lake City (Direct? ) Salt Lake City to San Francisco San Fransisco to Reno/Lake Tahoe Lake Tahoe to Los Angeles (Direct?) Los Angeles to Miami Miami to NYC Any comments about congestion on the internal  flights during September/October, since I’m flying with a Delta Air Pass (standby only) ? Any help appreciated! Well, it is important to note that Delta does not fly some (many) of these routes, so the times will involve changing planes which is a pain (occasionally) when you are flying Standby.  Here is the routing that Delta might use and the possible times. > NYC to Boston

1 hour, Delta Shuttle hourly from LGA to BOS. Delta also from JFK. > Boston to Detriot

    Boston-Cincinatti: 140 minutes Cincinatti-Detroit: 75 Minutes > Detroit to Salt Lake City (Direct? )

Detroit-Cincinatti: 75 minutes CVG-SLC: 3.5 hours > Salt Lake City to San Francisco 100 minutes > San Fransisco to Reno/Lake Tahoe

You can fly from San Jose to Reno on the Connection in 1 hour.  From San Fran, it would be 100 minutes to Salt Lake and 90 minutes to Reno > Lake Tahoe to Los Angeles (Direct?) 80 minutes > Los Angeles to Miami

Connect in Dallas, Cincinatti, or Atlanta.  Total time of 6-7 hours. > Miami to NYC

1 flight a day to JFK; 2 hours and 40 minutes. Otherwise connect in Atlanta for a total time of 4 or 5 hours. Have a great trip! -Noah Cole — "Danger, I’ve been told to expect it." – Phish
